Find out what one in ten homeowners already know: for lower cost and lower maintenance; to combat rot, fire, and wind; for termite resistance; and to eliminate buckling, warping and fading, you have one choice: fiber cement siding.

You have a wide choice of looks and styles

  • Clapboard (in widths up to nearly a foot)
  • Shingles (flat, round or octagonal edge)
  • Shakes (staggered or symmetrical look)
  • Stucco (textured AND tough)
  • Vertical planks (with a rustic groove)
  • Wood grain embossed (it can be difficult to distinguish it from wood)
  • Smooth finishes (that can accent modern architecture)

What is fiber cement siding? It’s a proven housing exterior material made ultra modern
It is made with leading edge technology that combines cement, sand and a small percentage of cellulose fiber, to give it the strength and rigidity siding demands. We know it performs exceptionally well, because homes that are 80 and 90 years old have an older version of the material, and it is still going strong. Time was, the fiber was asbestos. Engineers have improved it with cellulose fiber.

You can even purchase fiber cement soffit panels to finish the underside of your roof overhangs. You can use weather resistant vinyl trim, too. We are your single source to install siding, trim, gutters, soffits and fascia.

Your color options are limitless
Fiber cement siding accepts and holds onto 100% water based acrylic paint exceptionally well. Planks and stucco accept stain. Because the rigid panels do not expand and contract to the extent that wood does, paint doesn’t peel or blister.

One of the premier manufacturers we feature, HardiePlank®, is not painted on the job site but is hued in the factory. Consumers find this material is markedly resistant to UV rays, which cause fading. This brand comes in a rainbow of colors and styles. James Hardie pioneered the technology, which he calls “the first layer of defense in weather protection”.
You also have the choice of another exceptional brand, CertainTeed®, whose fiber cement siding and trim come ready to paint or with pre-finished paint and stain looks. This manufacturer promotes the fact that it is a “green” building material. It contains 50% recycled content. Its plants recycle the water they use, saving more than 2 billion gallons of fresh water per year. The majority of wood fiber pulp used is from managed forests. The use of recycled fly ash to make the cement diverts 100,000 tons from landfills each year.

While there are several manufacturers, we chose the brands that reflect our quality service. We chose to offer brands that, coupled with our 15 years of siding experience, exceed your expectations for rejuvenating the exterior of your home.

Other features:
Prices are competitive.
You will likely pay less than upper grade vinyl siding. You may pay an average of two-and-a-half times more for redwood siding.

Fiber cement siding planks can be “blind nailed”. Clapboard is nailed close to the top edge. The next overlapping piece hides the nails. When you dislike the pock-marked appearance of nail on traditional wood siding, this is an innovation you will appreciate.
